Special Note to Providers

If you call Phone Help to request a face-to-face assessment, please be prepared to provide the consumer’s name, age, presenting problem, safety issues and any other demographics and/or history that might be helpful.

Your cooperation will assist the consumer in receiving the most safe, efficient and effective services.

Some consumers who might benefit from Phone Help are hesitant about using a telephone. It may help to have the consumer call Phone Help from the provider’s office when they are not in crisis. This can be an easier way for someone to get to know Phone Help and to understand what to expect when they need to call.

A representative from Phone Help is available to come to your agency to answer questions and explain Phone Help services.
